The God of Destruction finally has a date. Toei Animation has confirmed that Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will premiere on Fuji TV on October 11, 2026 at 11:15 p.m. JST. The series will be available for streaming on Prime Video and U-NEXT just 30 minutes after broadcast.
A New Take on the Beerus Arc
This isn’t a simple remaster. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is billed as an “ENHANCED” edition, featuring a large volume of newly added and redrawn cuts, a reconstructed narrative, updated sound, and a commitment to a “more faithful representation of the original manga”. The project revisits the early Dragon Ball Super storyline, encompassing the Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ arcs, with a visual and narrative overhaul.
Super Surge Trailer
Alongside the premiere date, Toei unveiled a new “Super Surge” trailer, offering a fresh look at Goku’s confrontation with Beerus, the return of Frieza, and hints of new threats. The trailer also previews the series’ theme songs:
- Opening Theme: “ONOGAMI” by MEGATERA・ZERO
- Ending Theme: “Kan Peki No Peki” by VK Blanka
World Premiere at NYCC
Fans in New York will get an early look. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will host a special panel at New York Comic Con on October 8, featuring a world-premiere advance screening of the very first episode. The event will be hosted by Monica Rial (English voice of Bulma), with special guests Jason Douglas (Beerus) and Ian Sinclair (Whis) joining on stage.
