hololive is finally getting its own anime. During the special livestream “hololive Next 2026.9.7,” COVER Corporation and KADOKAWA confirmed that an anime project is in development as part of the VTuber group’s upcoming 10th anniversary celebrations.
Studio KAI, known for its work on numerous official hololive animations and music videos, will handle animation production. The studio’s team, who deeply understand the world of hololive and its talents, is expected to deliver a high-quality visual experience.
Ahead of key visual and storyline reveals, a mysterious keyword has been unveiled: “Odeholo.” Fans are encouraged to share their theories using the hashtag #Odeholo on X.
Full details about the anime, including visual reveals and the true identity of “Odeholo,” will be unveiled during a special stream on September 23 at 20:00–21:00 JST on the official “Odeholo” YouTube Channel.
