Roal, the artist behind Father, I Don’t Want This Marriage, will be working on a new project.
As teased by Studio Neulbom, Roal will be the artist for the upcoming manhwa adaptation of Baegdan’s webnovel 공작님의 아이만 필요합니다 which loosely translates to I Only Need the Duke’s Child. Teaser images for the main characters have been revealed below. The manhwa launches on April 7 on Naver WEBTOON.
I Only Need the Duke’s Child follows a young woman named Blair who, after dying in her first life, resolves to marry her coldhearted husband once more for the sole purpose of meeting her child from her first life. She made a deal with her husband: they would stay married for a year and during that year, she would help him investigate an incident from a decade ago. But something feels different about her husband in her second life…
The novel released in February 2023 with 162 chapters and eight side stories and concluded in July 2023.
Roal is known for being the artist of Father, I Don’t Want This Marriage which has been licensed for print by Inklore. The manhwa is available to read digitally on Tappytoon where it launched on February 26, 2021 and concluded on April 29, 2024.
An official translation for both the webnovel and manhwa have not yet been announced. The manhwa will release on Naver WEBTOON on April 7 at 10 PM KST.
