Ending Maker will be coming back after its long-term hiatus.
As displayed on its notice, Ending Maker has announced that the manhwa will return on April 28 at 10 PM KST with Episode 67 on Kakaopage. The last update on the Korean platform was back on June 21, 2024. A notice was posted on July 4 that due to the artist’s health, the series would go on an extended hiatus, stating that an exact return date would be posted later.
Based on the original novel by Chwiryong, Ending Maker was adapted into a manhwa by DOES with the first few episodes launching on Kakao on May 29, 2022. The English localization was released on June 14, 2023 and went on hiatus on January 31, 2025. The series has garnered 3.9 million views on Kakao and 388,000 views on Tapas.
The synopsis reads:
After “outboxer009” wakes up in the body of Yuder Bayel from Legend of Heroes 2, he soon discovers that his rival “sandstorm” has also entered the game world as Cordelia Chace. These top-two-ranked old pros come to realize that navigating this game world is much harder than just pointing and clicking. With the apocalyptic conclusion of the game looming before them, they’ll have to combine his quick wit, her foul mouth, and both their gamer mindsets to make a new, less cataclysmic ending.
