Elixir of the Sun is headed to the small screen.
The popular Lezhin manhwa has been selected for an aeni adaptation through a KOCCA program, joining several other titles chosen for the initiative. The adaptation will span 12 episodes, each running approximately 22 minutes.
Written by Konn and illustrated by Song Yi (original story by solddam), Elixir of the Sun follows Bayan, a young woman with black hair living in the silver-haired Siyo village—making her an anomaly from the start. After losing her mother, Bayan finds herself entangled with a bloodthirsty emperor and must navigate the treacherous politics of the palace while staying connected to the people from her village.
The series runs over 100 chapters and is available to read on Lezhin.
