One Room TA‘s opening is making everyone feel all the emotions.
LAFTEL released the opening theme video for its upcoming aeni adaptation of One Room TA, which has already made numerous fans excited. “Homeostasis Collapse” was performed by HARUTO and Oversleep, VTubers. ddim wrote the lyrics and composed the music, and also arranged the music along with OJ. The opening starts off a little melancholic before turning a complete 180 with Jinhyeong’s wild antics (even breakdancing at one point in the kitchen). The video perfectly balances the chaotically humorous with the raunchy as seen in a “dirty” scene.
OWLBOX directed the opening with and, along with Kim Min-ju and Chuck, worked on the animation. OWLBOX, Chuck, and JUK handled the motion design with Park Seul-gi and Natic working on the background art. The fancy dance moves were choreographed by Tsuko and Purple Duck, Kim Seung-rae and Doh Yun-hee worked on the compositing. Kang Jungmin helmed the video as the animation producer with KANG producing.

The opening video for One Room TA has since been taken down as of June 14, 2026 at 12:11 AM, approximately a day after the upload. LAFTEL posted the announcement of the removal on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account.
According to LAFTEL, the reason for the removal was due to the music used for the opening. The platform cited issues in the planning and communication process. LAFTEL has taken down the video but will release it at a later date once they revise the music with more care and “prioritizes the completeness of the work.”
Although LAFTEL did not explicitly say why it was taken down, it appears as though, prior to the removal, many fans were concerned about the use of VTubers in the opening as most of the VTuber fandom is underage and with One Room TA being an R18 work, it would not be appropriate to have minors in that space. There were also issues with the audio where the pronunciation was unclear. Other allegations have pointed out that one of the VTubers made homophobic remarks.
Jibung, the creator, also addressed the issue in an X, formerly known as Twitter, post and said that they were the one to ask LAFTEL to take it down. They asked for fans’ understanding and said the opening “with an improved audio track” would be released once again.
One Room TA, written and illustrated by Jibung, was first released on Peanutoon but has moved to Bomtoom after the platform closed. Garnering over 7 million views, the webcomic has also earned “Most Entertaining Books of 2024” by the Korean Publishing Culture Association. The series has been a popular fan favorite since its release in 2022.
The synopsis is as follows:
After returning to campus as a sophomore, Uyun meets Jinhyeong, the socially-awkward-yet-stunningly-handsome T.A., and blurts out a confession on a whim. One thing leads to another…and suddenly, they’re roommates! Just as things start to heat up, Jinhyeong pulls back after a steamy kiss and says he has a very specific fantasy about physical intimacy. But just what kind of fantasy does he have? Can the two of them overcome all their wild expectations (and even wilder reality) to survive their first night together?
Formerly on Tappytoon before Peanutoon’s closure, One Room TA can now be read on Lezhin. The aeni releases on LAFTEL in the summer.
