Seeing Double Sees an Animated Adaptation

No, you’re not seeing things. Seeing Double is indeed coming to life.

LAFTEL has announced the animated adaptation of the BL manhwa Seeing Double. A PV with English subtitles was dropped on MINAM which is the platform for hosting Korean BL and available to international viewers. thing directed the adaptation with Youngown Studio helming the production with KIDARISTUDIO and LAFTEL co-producing. The aeni (Korean for animation) will contain four episodes.

Lily, the creator behind the original manhwa and who also created Heesu in Class 2 and Scent and Sensibility, was invited to the dubbing site where she met the voice actors. She thanked the production team and voice actors for their work and asked viewers to watch the anime.

Seeing Double will be available in a merch package on May 15 which will contain the four episodes, an acrylic stand, a USB holder, two bookmarks, and three photocards. It is unclear whether the anime will also be available on MINAM and LAFTEL on the same day.

Lily’s Seeing Double debuted on Lezhins’ Korean platform on March 3, 2021 and finished with 58 episodes on June 6, 2022. A side storywas released on November 14, 2022 with 11 episodes. The story is described on Lezhin:
