Eleceed‘s newest trailer introduces the voice actors for the upcoming anime adaptation with a noticeable omission.
The trailer opens with Seo Jiwoo happening across an injured cat and, with some difficulty, takes him home to care for him. Little does he know, this cat is the powerful Awakened human Kayden. While all the other characters have all had their voice actors revealed, interestingly, Kayden’s voice actor is still under wraps and will be announced at a later date. Enoki Junya, Hatanaka Tatsuku, Sato Setsuji, Doujima Hayato, and Ito Shizuka will voice Seo Jiwoo, Wooin, Dr. Delein, Jisuk Yoo, and Jiyoung Yoo, respectively.
DandeLion Animation Studio animating and producing the series and Hiroshi Nishikori directing. Yousuke Kuroda will write the script with Minami Sakura as the character designer. Nishikori said that he loved how the characters “all get involved with each other in clumsy, down-to-earth ways. As I carefully follow their all-out clashes through the animation process, I can really feel the sense of reality build as movement is added and voices are layered in, which has me very excited.”
Written by Son Jeho and illustrated by Zhena, Eleceed first began serialization on Naver WEBTOON in October 2018 before making its debut on the English platform on May 6, 2019. The action manhwa is still serializing on the platform with close to 500 chapters as of this article’s publishing. Inklore holds the physical print license.
The synopsis describes Eleceed:

Fans can catch up on Eleceed on WEBTOON. The print release will drop in January 2027, and the anime will broadcast in early 2027.
