AOASHI is back on the pitch. The hit soccer anime premiered its second season over the weekend on Crunchyroll, and to celebrate, creditless versions of the opening and ending animation segments are now available online.
The opening animation highlights Ashito and the other Team A first-years, using “cerebral soccer” imagery to offer a glimpse into Ashito’s perspective as a player. As the team faces formidable rivals and grows together, the animation shifts to them honing their style in high-level matches, building anticipation for the season ahead.
The digital single for 10-FEET’s “Fortress Defense” is available on streaming platforms, and the music video is also live on YouTube.
The ending animation opens at dusk on a bus to Esperion’s campus, where Ashito reviews tape of himself during practice. His former teammates from Team B meet him at the bus stop, underscoring how pivotal they were in helping him reach this point—and how critical they’ll be in his continued development.
Ai Higuchi’s “Triangle” is available on streaming platforms now.
With AOASHI returning for its second season just as global enthusiasm for soccer has never been higher, the series is poised to hone and educate that passion into lifelong students of the game. The opening and ending animations set the tone for what promises to be another compelling season.
AOASHI Season 2 is streaming now on Crunchyroll. Watch the creditless OP and ED, then dive into the new season. The walls are high, but Ashito has never been one to back down.
