Opanchu Usagi, the viral Japanese character by illustrator KAWAISOUNI!, is making its North American debut at Anime Expo 2026 . The pink, perpetually teary-eyed creature—beloved by Japanese Gen Z for its “pitiful but lovable” charm—will appear at Booth WF5 in the West Hall Lobby from July 2–5.
