AVIOT has launched the TE-V1R-EVA true wireless earbuds, created in collaboration with the anime EVANGELION to commemorate the series’ 30th anniversary. The special edition model is based on AVIOT’s popular TE-V1R and features over 160 newly recorded voice lines, exclusive packaging, and sound tuning by Yoko Takahashi.
EVANGELION Voice Lines
The earbuds feature over 160 newly recorded voice lines across nine character modes:
- Shinji Ikari
- Rei Ayanami
- Asuka Shikinami Langley
- Mari Makinami Illustrious
- Misato Katsuragi
- Ritsuko Akagi
- Kaworu Nagisa
- Gendo Ikari
- Ryoji Kaji
Users can switch between modes using the dedicated app, with voice guidance for notifications and a “random voice” feature that plays memorable quotes from the series.
Design & Packaging
The earbuds feature a white-and-silver color scheme with the Spears of Longinus and Cassius, while the charging case bears an EVANGELION Unit-01-inspired logo. The packaging includes a newly drawn illustration of Rei Ayanami and Asuka Shikinami Langley wearing the earbuds.
Tuning
The sound tuning was supervised by Yoko Takahashi, the artist behind the iconic theme songs “The Cruel Angel’s Thesis” (NEON GENESIS EVANGELION) and “Soul’s Refrain” (EVANGELION: DEATH & REBIRTH).
