Kaleidoscope of Death will be more readily available to read in North America soon.

Aloha Comics has officially (sort of) announced the US license acquisition of Kaleidoscope of Death. The English license was first acquired by Rosmei but the publisher only had rights to sell it in Singapore. As a result, readers had to go through third party distributors to buy the books which often had a higher cost due to shipping and other added costs. It is unclear whether the Aloha Comics’ acquisition is a US-only license or a North American/worldwide license. Aloha Comics has also not yet revealed whether this would be a brand-new translation or if they would be using Rosmei’s translation.

Aloha Comics had previously teased the license acquisition of Kaleidoscope of Death with a tweet on May 26 that was also quote-retweeted by Rosmei who wrote: “Congrats on the Kaleidoscope of Death US edition!”

This is the first confirmed US license for a title Rosmei has previously announced. Rosmei’s international licenses will include physical books and e-books, the latter of which is currently done in partnership with Publang where Rosmei titles will be available to read only on Publang’s site although Rosmei has revealed it has plans to expand. Singapore-only titles will be available in English only.

According to their May 2026 progress report, of the 43 completed and ongoing titles, Rosmei has international rights to 15 titles, Singapore-only rights to 20 titles, with four announced titles being “TBA.” There are also three series to be announced.

Written by Xi Zi Xu, Kaleidoscope of Death is a horror mystery series. Kaleidoscope of Death features a survival game where Lin Quishi and Ruan Nanzhu must go through 12 iron gates and survive the horrors that lie behind them. The web novel of Kaleidoscope of Death contains 139 chapters with eight extras. Rosmei will have six volumes with four already published.

Additional details about the US version of Kaleidoscope of Death, including cover artist, bonuses, translation details, and release date, were not available at the time of the article’s publishing.
