Fans are melting over the artwork for After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine.
Seven Seas Entertainment unveiled the cover for the fourth and final volume of After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine. Huo Wujiu’s expression is excruciatingly tender as he cradles Jiang Suizhou’s face in his hands. Fans will have to thank Fish for such a sweet cover artwork. SeokSu’s interior artwork will likely make readers swoon just as hard. Faelicy and Z. Yan worked together on the translation.
Written by Liu Gou Hua, After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine is a transgression novel where history professor Jiang Suizhou scoffs at the premise of a thesis that proposes that General Huo Wujiu spent three years serving as the concubine to his enemy’s brother, the cut-sleeve prince, before making his escape and exacting his revenge. Unfortunately, Jiang Suizhou wakes up to realize that the thesis is not fiction and is very much true when he wakes up as the cut-sleeve prince himself.
The synopsis for Vol. 4 reads:
After narrowly escaping an ambush, Huo Wujiu storms the imperial palace to save Jiang Suizhou. Reunited, they seize Southern Jing—and each other’s hearts. Their coup uncovers new evidence: letters of treason from Huo Yuyan, Huo Wujiu’s cousin and the crown prince of Northern Liang.
