TAEYONG just raised the bar for his solo career.
The NCT leader released his first full-length solo album, WYLD, today via SM Entertainment, alongside an official music video for the hard-hitting title track. The 10-track project marks his boldest solo statement yet, with TAEYONG involved across every single track.
The album includes songs first revealed at his January concert TY TRACK – REMASTERED, including “Skiii,” “Feeling Myself,” “Mermaid,” and “404 Euphoria,” alongside new material. Highlights range from the EDM-driven energy of “I’m a Dancing Cactus” to the performance-focused intensity of “Storm,” showcasing TAEYONG’s versatility as both musician and performer.
“I’m really excited and looking forward to sharing this album,” TAEYONG shared. “Over the past two years, I spent a lot of time looking back on my previous work, learning, and pushing myself to grow. I worked on this album with the hope of showing a more evolved side of myself, and I hope it becomes a project that awakens your musical instincts.”
WYLD is available now on all major streaming platforms. Physical albums are available worldwide. Whether you’ve followed TAEYONG since his 2023 solo debut or you’re just curious what a track called “I’m a Dancing Cactus” sounds like, this one’s worth a listen.
