A new Disney The Haunted Mansion has been announced, and just in time for Halloween.
The spirits have taken residence in the mansion in this new manga installment of Disney The Haunted Mansion. The new story, titled Disney The Haunted Mansion: Stray Spirits will have a five-issue comic book release as well as a graphic novel. Sammie Crowley will pen the story with Francesca Follini doing the artwork and Pascal Tora providing the color. These issues will release from October 2026 to February 2027.
The covers of the five issues can be seen below. Each one is 32 pages long and priced at $4.99 each.
In addition, Stray Spirits will also be released as a graphic novel with the same creative team. It is set to come out in August 2027.
TOKYOPOP has provided the following synopsis:
Adrienne is a middle schooler with no one to count on. Her only friend is the black cat who lives at the old, eerie mansion at the end of her neighborhood. When Adrienne visits him after yet another lonely day, the cat starts acting even stranger and more mischievous than before.
That’s when the gates swing open, and the cat leads Adrienne into a grim and grinning chase through the Haunted Mansion. Little does she know…this particular cat has a ghoulish reputation.
Disney The Haunted Mansion: Stray Spirits joins TOKYOPOP’s growing line of Disney manga which includes stories featuring fan favorite movies like Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Lilo and Stitch, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more.
