Tokyo Revengers Sets the Stage for the War of the Three Titans in Second PV

Tokyo Revengers‘ next arc “War of the Three Titans” is coming out in October.

A second PV for the upcoming season was dropped on the anime’s official channel which introduced four other cast members which includes three Brahman members. Naoyuki Shimozuru will voice Takeomi Akashi, the vice president of Brahman and the “God of War.” Shinnosuke Tachibana will portray Wakasa Imaushi, one of the top members of Brahman. Takanori Hoshino will voice Keizo Arashi, another top member of Brahman. Hiroki Yasumoto will voice South Terano, the leader of Rokuhara Tandai.

LIDEN Films will animate and produce the season with Maki Kodaira taking over as director from Koichi Hatsumi who directed the previous seasons. Hatsumi will oversee the series scripts with Yasuyuki Muto. Hiroaki Tsutsumi will compose the music.

Season 1 of the anime aired between April to September 2021. Season 2, adapting the “Christmas Showdown” arc, premiered in January 2023 where it aired until April. The “Tenjiku” arc was adapted for the third season which aired between October to December 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the first season before the next two seasons were moved to Hulu in the US and Disney+ worldwide.

Based on the best-selling manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers received an anime adaptation, courtesy of Liden Films. The story follows 26-year-old loser Takemichi Hanagaki who finds out his girlfriend in middle school and her brother have been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang, an organization known for committing all kinds of heinous crimes. When Takemichi gets pushed in front of a train, he wakes up 12 years in the past and realizes he may be able to save his girlfriend from her tragic death. As he investigates, he realizes the Tokyo Manji Gang from 12 years ago is a very different group than the one he’s familiar with in the future.

Season 4 of Tokyo Revengers premieres in October. The manga can be read digitally on Kodansha and in print by Seven Seas.
