Anime Expo attendees, get ready to hit the alleys!
Hulu’s Animayhem returns to the convention this year with Animayhem Yokocho—a high-energy, immersive anime alley inspired by Tokyo’s famous street culture. The activation runs July 2–5 on the floor of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

What Is Animayhem Yokocho?
Picture this: paper lanterns and cherry blossoms overhead, characters at every turn, and interactive moments around every corner. Guests will move through a vibrant corridor where Hulu’s top anime titles collide, with photo ops, games, and memorabilia scattered throughout.
Featured series include:
- Naruto Classic
- Tokyo Revengers
- Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
- Rooster Fighter
- Mission: Yozakura Family
- Though I Am An Inept Villainess
- Undead Unluck: Winter Arc
Interactive Highlights
- Bleach Photo Op – Step into the world of the Thousand-Year Blood War alongside life-size standees of Ganju, Chad, Ichigo, Orihime, and Uryu. Fans fill the sixth spot for a selfie with a branded digital frame.
- Naruto Ramen Shop – Take a seat beside a 2D cutout of Naruto at Ichiraku Ramen’s open stools and pose with bowls of (faux) ramen.
- Rooster Fighter Dance Challenge – Join Keiji, Piyoko, and Elizabeth for a dance challenge. Animated character overlays join you on screen, and if you’re lucky, a real rooster mascot might appear.
- Tokyo Revengers Graffiti Wall – Stand with the Toman gang in front of a full-width street wall featuring iconic art and the legendary dragon tattoo at its center.
- Mission: Yozakura Family Packing Game – The Yozakura family overslept. You have 60 seconds to pack their gear in this collaborative puzzle challenge.
- Though I Am An Inept Villainess Court Portrait – Join Kou Reirin and Shu Keigetus on the Maiden Court, answer a question, and pick your side for a portrait.
- Undead Unluck Confrontation – Face off with Apocalypse, the devilish book that always has something to say. Don’t get whisked into the Winter Arc.
Hulu’s Animayhem has become a fan-favorite convention staple, and Yokocho promises to be the biggest iteration yet. Between the Naruto ramen shop, Bleach selfies, and a possible rooster mascot, this activation is worth carving out time for.
All featured titles are streaming now on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers.
