Another Lemon Frog novel will be turned into a manhwa.
WEBTOON announced that The Scandal Maker Has Returned will be adapted into a manhwa. The announcement was found on Lemon Frog’s other novel-to-manhwa adaptation Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story which was re-launched to celebrate The Scandal Maker Has Returned‘s release. Zoo Sun will illustrate the manhwa with East writing the adaptation. M Story Hub is the production studio.
Based on the original novel by Lemon Frog, the story follows Harriet Listerwell who is forced by her uncle to shoulder all the blame for her cousin’s crimes. Although feeling a little wronged, Harriet still agrees to become the black sheep of the family because she feels indebted to her uncle who took her in after her parents died. When she’s accused of stealing a duke’s brooch, Harriet is sent away to a strict convent, the harsh punishments and discipline of which has hardened her heart and turned it into ice. With a thirst for revenge, Harriet returns to the city and bumps into Duke Kaylas–the man whose missing brooch put her in the convent in the first place.
The novel was originally released in 2025 and is completed at 209 chapters. There is no English publisher for the novel.
Five free episodes of Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story will be made available every day until June 9. The Scandal Maker Has Returned launches on May 28.
