Seven Seas Entertainment unveiled the third volume cover of After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine. The cover features Jiang Suichou and Huo Wujiu in a tight embrace, eyes locked on each other, as they leap through the sky. Fish designed the artwork for the cover and SeokSu handled the artwork in the interior. Faelicy and Z. Yan worked on the translation.
Written by Liu Gou Hua, After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine is a transgression novel where history professor Jiang Suizhou scoffs at the premise of a thesis that proposes that General Huo Wujiu spent three years serving as the concubine to his enemy’s brother, the cut-sleeve prince, before making his escape and exacting his revenge. Unfortunately, Jiang Suizhou wakes up to realize that the thesis is not fiction and is very much true when he wakes up as the cut-sleeve prince himself.
The synopsis for Vol. 3 reads:
Jiang Suizhou, modern-day history professor turned historical cut-sleeve prince, has helped Huo Wujiu regain his former self. The “god of war” can finally walk again, his men are embedded in the city, and soon he may have an army. But a most shocking discovery has rocked Jiang Suizhou: his feelings for Huo Wujiu go much deeper than simple camaraderie—an affection secretly reciprocated.
