Seven Seas unveiled the cover for the second volume of Seizing Dreams. The cover features Yu Hao and Zhou Sheng in one of the dreams where Yu Hao is an angel and Zhou Sheng, now sporting black hair, has donned on armor. Behind them are a set of stairs that lead to a Mesoamerican pyramid. Hana illustrated the cover with Ying providing interior artwork. Amixy handled the translation for the series.
Written by Fei Tian Ye Xiang, Seizing Dreams follows eighteen-year-old Yu Hao who, pushed to the brink, decides to commit suicide. But instead of dying, he wakes up in a world where dreams and reality intersect and meets a mysterious figure named the General who fights alongside Yu Hao in various dreamscapes. Seven Seas’ edition projects seven printed volumes.
The synopsis for Vol. 2 is as follows:
Yu Hao never expected to spend the Lunar New Year with Zhou Sheng, much less return with him to his hometown. But beneath the promise of a happy holiday lies a painful family life—and clues that make Yu Hao wonder if Zhou Sheng might really be the heroic General who saved him from the brink.
Back on campus, the two fall into an uneasy push and pull: Yu Hao worries their friendship will affect Zhou Sheng’s reputation, while Zhou Sheng charges ahead, seemingly unconcerned with what anyone thinks. Neither is prepared when tragedy strikes Chen Yekai’s mentor, setting off a chain of events that threatens to tear Chen Yekai apart. As his darkest secrets emerge, Yu Hao and the General plunge into the chaotic jungle of Chen Yekai’s dream realm, hoping to save him from himself.
But even if they triumph…will it be enough to stop what’s waiting in the waking world?
