The Straw Hat Crew is heading back to the ballpark.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toei Animation have renewed their partnership for One Piece Night, scheduled for Thursday, July 2 at the Dodgers’ 7:10 p.m. game against the San Diego Padres.

Now in its second year, the promotion has quickly become a fan favorite. This year’s One Piece Night includes:

  • A pregame activation in the Centerfield Plaza
  • A ceremonial first pitch
  • A postgame drone show featuring fan-favorite characters from the series
  • A stadium-wide giveaway to the first 40,000 ticketed fans (while supplies last)

One Piece has been a global phenomenon since its Japanese TV premiere in 1999, and the franchise continues to grow with 15 feature films, video games, a trading card game, and an ever-expanding catalog of merchandise. The Dodgers’ partnership with Toei Animation bridges the worlds of baseball and anime in a way that feels natural for Los Angeles—a city with deep ties to both.

“We are delighted to welcome back fans to this year’s edition of One Piece Night,” said Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of the Los Angeles Dodgers. “The Dodgers and One Piece form a seamless collaboration that has quickly made this event into one that cannot be missed.”

Toei Animation’s Senior Director of Marketing, Lisa Yamatoya, added: “Last year was a huge success and one of our biggest One Piece promotions of 2025. We look forward to welcoming a record crowd once again.”

If you missed last year’s event, don’t make the same mistake twice. A postgame drone show featuring One Piece characters is exactly as cool as it sounds. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. on July 2.
