A josei manga will be joining Kana’s library soon.
Kana, the manga imprint of Abrams Comics, announced, without much fanfare, that it had licensed My Dear, A Mystery For You, a short manga series by Morie Satoshi, who wrote and illustrated Killing Line. The series will contain three volumes and will be released as hardcovers. The first volume comes out in May 2027.
My Dear, A Mystery For You follows a young woman named Ayano who would much rather spend her time reading books but is forced to live and interact with the real world by working. Then there’s Noumi Takayuki, a former detective novelist who, for some reason, has abandoned his pen in favor of a magnifying glass of a consulting detective. As Ayano begins managing Noumi’s personal belongings, strange incidents begin to happen to them…
The series was first published in Kodansha’s Itan magazine from October 2016 to April 18.
The official English translation of My Dear, A Mystery For You will release its first volume in May 2027.
