Jujutsu Kaisen‘s “Culling Game Arc” will conclude in the fourth season.
Following the Season 3 finale, Jujutsu Kaisen announced that the second part of the “Culling Game Arc” will be adapted in Season 4. The release window, cast, and staff for Season 4 has not been announced at this article’s writing. Season 3 launched on January 9 and concluded on March 27 with an extended 27-minute finale for its twelfth episode.

Animated and produced by Studio MAPPA, Jujutsu Kaisen aired the first season in October 2020 with 24 episodes. Sunghoo Park directed the first season as well as the prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Shōta Goshozono replaced Park for Season 2 and 3’s director. Hiroshi Seko and Yosuke Yajima wrote the script with Hiromi Niwa designing the characters and Yoshimasa Terui composed the music.
Written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen launched in Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018 and has over 150 million copies in circulation as of December 2025, earning its place as one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The manga wrapped up on September 30, 2024. Jujutsu Kaisen won the Tsutaya Comic Award in 2019 and the Mandō Kobayashi Manga Grand Prix 2020 and was nominated for the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2021.
The story follows an ordinary, but unusually physically fit, high school student named Yuji Itadori who gets embroiled in the world of jujutsu sorcerers when he swallows a rotten finger of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Although the jujutsu sorcerers society call for his execution, Satoru Gojo, one of the teachers at Jujutsu High and the most powerful sorcerer in history, stays his execution only until Yuji can find and swallow the rest of Sukuna’s fingers, thus allowing the world to get rid of Sukuna once and for all.
