The single-volume modern transmigration danmei is now available to preorder.
Hai Tang Books has opened preorders for Old Wounds New Growth, written by Shi Wu Cha. Heather Wang translated the series with suzimo editing. Jie Mei Li illustrated the cover art and Russa provided the interior artwork with Pointx4 designing the book. The book will have foil lettering and glitter printing, and those who preordered will also enjoy an additional bonus of sprayed edges. The back features the tagline: “After my boyfriend’s funeral, I woke up in the past, back when he was secretly in love with me, and I didn’t even know he existed…“

Written by Shi Wu Cha, Old Wounds New Growth follows Shen Baoshan who watches his lover, Li Chishu, battle depression before ultimately committing suicide. Shen Baoshan gets a second chance when he wakes up ten years in the past and meets Li Chishu in high school once more. With Li Chishu’s death haunting him from his past life, Shen Baoshan is determined to make sure there’s a happier ending this time. The danmei consists of 28 chapters and three extras for a total of 31 chapters although it is unclear if Hai Tang Books will follow the same format.
Old Wounds New Growth will have the web extra, published extra, and an exclusive extra. Preorders will stay open until September 14.
