GlobalComix will have six popular manga and manhwa available on its platform this fall.
GlobalComix has announced some new additions to its digital library ahead of New York Comic Con. Through its distribution agreement with Dwango, three Kadkokawa titles, consisting of a romance, a BL, and fantasy adventure, will make its way onto the platform. To Sir, Without Love: I’m Divorcing You, an ongoing romantasy series, Love Tattoo, a short completed BL manga, and The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne, a fantasy-adventure series, will be coming this fall.
Through its distribution agreement with Riverse, GlobalComix will have three REDICE Studio titles available. This includes Tomb Raider King, Overgeared, The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero. These three works will also make their way to GlobalComix this fall.
According to Henrik Rydberg, the CEO of GlobalComix, these new partnerships will give the GlobalComix readership “access to an exciting range of stories and creative perspectives.”
“From celebrated reader favorites to emerging series building passionate audiences, these titles reflect the variety and creative energy that make manga and manhwa impossible to put down.”
With the imminent closure of Tapas, fans will be able to feel slightly relieved that they can still read their favorite titles on other platforms. With titles from REDICE Studio coming to GlobalComix, it may be a sign that more manhwa will soon make its way onto the platform.
Release dates for the six Kadokawa and REDICE Studio titles have not yet been revealed as of this article’s writing.
