Wicked Spot will only contain two volumes.
Sal Jiang, the writer and artist behind the girls’ love manga Wicked Spot, announced on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account that the manga will end with Chapter 16. A reason for the cancellation has not been given, although it’s likely that reception and sales in Japan have not been high. Fans have flooded the comments, expressing gratitude to the creator as well as sadness that it had been so unceremoniously cancelled.
Jiang’s statement can be read below:
To all WickedSpot readers: So sad to tell but this comic will end in episode 16. There’s still a lot of things I wanted to do but I had a chance to publish it as vol.2 at least. I hope you can get this paper comic book in this year!
And I knew there are people who tried to help my work spreading and connecting to the new readers. Though I couldn’t take their kind offers bc of our publishing systems, I’m SO thankful. Honestly i was so happy to know WickedSpot has fans
I’m surprised but happy to know such many people miss Wicked Spot already. It will end but doesn’t mean that I gave up on this work. I love my characters. I love making stories. And I will keep looking for places where I can continue to draw what I want to! thank you all

Wicked Spot is set to release its first volume on May 26.
