Brothers Without a Tomorrow, the creator behind the guideverse BL manhwa Dear Zero, has some news for fans.
The creator went on X, formerly known as Twitter, to update fans on the status of the second season. Brothers Without a Tomorrow revealed that Dear Zero would resume serialization again this year, although they could not confirm the exact date. They promised that they would do their best to not make readers wait for too long and thanked fans for believing in them and for being patient. A cropped work-in-progress panel of Eve was also shared.
Dear Zero launched on Lezhin on July 20, 2024, running for 30 episodes before concluding on December 28. However, the serialization for the series as well as Foul’s Start and Syrinx, the Villain Healer were stalled due to issues Brothers Without a Tomorrow had with the publisher. According to a tweet they posted on August 31, 2025, they recently ended their affiliation with the publisher who had some “business circumstances.” As a result of the contractual and copyright issues, they could not continue the serialization of any of the three series on their own until those issues were resolved.
They hoped that they could continue these works in the future and were currently searching for ways to do so. There have been no updates for Foul’s Start and Syrinx, the Villain Healer.
The synopsis for Dear Zero reads as follows:
After humanity triumphs over the dangerous gates, a fragile peace is restored, yet the immense powers of espers become a dangerous double-edged sword. At the heart of this turmoil is Esper Zero, Michael, teetering on the edge of destruction. Enter Adam, a retired soldier haunted by the fractured bonds between espers and their guides. In a bold act of redemption, Adam offers Michael a second chance and a new identity: “Eve,” symbolizing a fresh start and a spark of hope. But is peace truly possible for a person created for war…?
