Crossed Hearts Licenses BL Manhua Fly Over the Sea

Will Charles Ji suffer another tormented ending?

Crossed Hearts has announced the physical print license for Fly Over the Sea, a gangster omegaverse BL where the protagonist is transported thirty years into the past and meets the person who murdered him–his fiancé. Except this person may have the same face but he has a different name and a seemingly different personality. Fly Over the Sea will be part of Crossed Hearts’ Blush Club imprint which focuses on BL titles.

Created by JNH.WH Studio and Lasso, Fly Over the Sea is published on Kuaikanmanhua. The synopsis Crossed Hearts has provided is as follows:

Charles Ji thought his life was over. Instead, he wakes up thirty years in the past, in the body of a nineteen-year-old, with a second chance at life and memories of exactly how his first one ended. Then a kindhearted young man comes to his rescue.

There’s just one problem.

He has the exact same face as Charles’s former fiancé and killer. Same face. Different person. Or so it seems.

Haunted by a death that hasn’t happened yet and drawn toward someone he knows he shouldn’t trust, Charles must decide whether the face he fears most is the face he can bring himself to trust once more, or is history destined to repeat itself?

It is unclear if Crossed Hearts will provide their own translation or use the one that’s currently available on Tappytoon which has 52 episodes as of this article’s writing. A release date for the title has not yet been revealed.
