Bad Boss will be making a television screen debut.
As per Anime News Network, Bad Boss has been greenlit for a live-action series with Studio Tina and Studio Dragon collaborating on the production of the series. The drama is currently in development. Other information such as release, distribution, actors, and production staff have not yet been announced as of this article’s writing.
Originally serialized on Lezhin Comics’ Korean platform in 2013, Bad Boss received a 9.6 rating and 2 million subscribers. One of the producers commented that Bad Boss had a clear appeal and left a strong impression on readers during its run for its emotional clashes and unpredictable storyline. The team has stated they are striving to create a faithful adaptation.
The synopsis for Bad Boss is as follows:
