AX 2026: ytv animation and YTE Bring Bookworm and Three New Fall Anime to Anime Expo 2026

If you’re heading to Anime Expo next month, ytv animation and YTE want your attention.

The production and broadcasting powerhouses behind INUYASHAMy Hero Academia, and Detective Conan are bringing a stacked panel to AX 2026, featuring Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4 and a look at three new anime slated for October.

Titled “Ascendance of a Bookworm” And Your Next Obsession, the session takes place Saturday, July 4 from 5:30 to 6:50 PM in Room 403AB at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Expect live drawing sessions, a watch party with sneak peeks, special guests, and surprises.

  • Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4 – Already airing since April 2026, the latest installment of Miya Kazuki’s beloved “biblia fantasy” continues Rozemyne’s journey through noble society. WIT Studio handles animation.
  • Vermillion Mask – Debuting October 2026. Details are still under wraps, but the panel will feature a voice actor for the character Peru.
  • World’s Strongest Witch – Another October premiere. Production handled by 100studio and LIDENFILMS.
  • Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things – Rounding out the fall slate. ASLE/Bridge handles production. The panel will also feature the series’ mascot character, Pagtaro.

The panel boasts an impressive lineup of directors, producers, and creators:

  • Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Director, WIT Studio)
  • Keita Yoshinobu (Producer, WIT Studio)
  • Aiko Minowa (Character Designer, WIT Studio)
  • Joji Furuta (Director, GATTUSO)
  • Taichi Kimura (Editor, SHONENGAHOSHA)
  • Plus producers from YTV, YTE, and AISLE/Bridge, and a yet-to-be-announced voice actor from Vermillion Mask.

Anime Expo panels can be hit or miss. This one looks like a hit. With Bookworm already in its fourth season, three fresh titles on the horizon, live drawings, giveaways, and a room full of industry insiders, ytv animation and YTE are making a strong case for your Saturday evening.
