Dark Horse Manga has announced three new licenses.
At Dark Horse Manga’s industry panel at Anime NYC, the publisher announced the licenses of three titles. H.P. Lovecraft’s The Case of Charles Dexter Ward and Vampire Hunter D: Rose Princess joined the Dark Horse Manga library. Vampire Hunter D will also be adapted into a four-issue comic mini series.

Charles Dexter Ward hasn’t seemed himself since traveling to strange lands and keeping stranger company, all in the pursuit of information on a notorious ancestor, Joseph Curwen. Vampire Hunter D will be adapted into a comic with three variant covers. Andrade will illustrate the main cover with variant covers illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano and Riccardo Federici. Emma Rios, Dan Quintana, and Eliza Ivanova will provide the cover art for subsequent issues. The comic will be a four-issue series and will go on sale on December 16 for $4.99 USD.
