After months of teasing and going so far as to put up a billboard on Times Square, Aloha Comics has officially announced their US license of Kaleidoscope of Death.
Not only did they announce their first danmei novel license, the publisher also revealed they had licensed their first wuxia novel, Seven Nights of Snow. Aloha Comics previously revealed that suika will translate KoD, but a translator for Seven Nights of Snow has not been revealed at the time of this article’s writing. The artists for both covers were also not revealed.

This edition of Kaleidoscope of Death will be in hardcover with sparkling spot lamination and printed page edges. Aloha Comics lists the series as “translation in progress” and currently has an estimated 450 pages for the first volume. Those who preorder will also receive a compound acrylic standee of Lin Quishi and Ruan Nanzhu.
Kaleidoscope of Death was first published by Rosmei but it is a Singapore-only license.
The synopsis for Seven Nights of Snow, written by Cang Yue, is as follows:
Wait for me beneath the plum tree and warm the wine…
He is Huo Zhanbai, a wandering swordsman who has spent years seeking a cure for a dying child. Stubborn and fearless, he has always trusted his sword more than his heart.
She is Xue Ziye, the formidable Master of Medicine Valley: cold, independent, and the only one who can help him.

Seven Nights of Snow will be released as a hardcover with blue foil and printed page edges. Aloha Comics lists the volume as “translation in progress” and currently has an estimated 450 pages. Bonus items have not yet been revealed. The novel was adapted into a drama in 2024.
The first volume of Kaleidoscope of Death and the single-volume wuxia story Seven Nights of Snow will be out this fall.
