The Defectives Vol. 4
Written by priest, Rosmei has provided the following synopsis for The Defectives:
In the New Star Age, humanity’s utopia is Eden—an all-encompassing AI that connects consciousness, facilitates learning, eliminates suffering, and promises perfect peace. Yet paradise has its price. Those unable to connect are branded “defectives” and exiled to the lawless Eighth Galaxy, a realm of poverty and strife known as “The Wastes”.
When Lu Bixing—an eccentric scientist from The Wastes—stumbles upon a drifting lifepod in deep space, he does the unthinkable: he opens it. Inside lies a man, malnourished and paralysed, yet unmistakably alive. From that moment, an unspoken bond takes root between them.
As Lu Bixing grows irreversibly drawn to the mysterious man known as Mr Four, he remains unaware that his intimidating sponsor is none other than General Lin Jingheng of the Silver Fortress—the legendary hero declared dead, and the very man the universe has been taught to fear.
As interstellar powers clash, General Lin is forced back into battle, leading a band of outcasts—including one persistent scientist who refuses to follow orders. Amidst political machinations and thrilling space battles, their bond reveals hidden truths and a fate far more intertwined than either could have imagined.
Xiao and Mu translated the series with VScorpio, Ying Li, and Python working on the illustrations. Feliz is credited as the designer. Those who preorder the regular edition will received a printed author’s autograph postcard, a paper bookmark, a badge, and a mini paper card. Those who preorder the merch exclusive edition will receive a shikishi, badge, mini poster, and a PVC card.
Hunt for the Leviathan Vol. 2
Written by Huai Shang, Rosmei has provided the following synopsis:
Every detective chases the truth. Some don’t realize it’s chasing them back.
When reserved, soft-spoken officer Wu Yu joins the Jinhai Police Service, he becomes the newest member of the Criminal Investigation Division under the notoriously sharp-tempered Sergeant Bu Chonghua. From day one, it’s clear: Bu doesn’t like him, doesn’t trust him, and doesn’t want him there.
But Wu isn’t going anywhere.
He endures the scoldings without complaint, slipping through the cracks with quiet obedience. Yet beneath his gentle demeanor, something doesn’t add up—and Bu can’t stop watching. The masks Wu wears start to falter, revealing a man far more capable—and far more haunted—than anyone expected.
As a wave of brutal crimes hit Jinhai, tied to a dark web platform known as the Mariana Trench, Bu and Wu are pulled into a deadly conspiracy that runs deeper than either of them imagined. And somewhere between bloodshed and betrayal, suspicion and trust, two men with fractured pasts begin to find in each other a reason to stay afloat.
Xuannie Chan translated the series with BLACKPERBUL and dokkaebisan working on the illustrations. kk designed the overall cover. The dust jackets are exclusive to the merch editions. Those who preorder the regular edition will receive a printed author’s autograph photocard, paper police ID card, and a paper case report. The merch exclusive edition will have a badge and a chibi card.
