A Wicked Tale of Cinderella’s Stepmom is coming back for its fourth and final season.
The romantasy manhwa announced a tentative return schedule for the fourth season of A Wicked Tale of Cinderella’s Stepmom after a two year hiatus. The studio apologized for the delay as there were “several matters that needed to be verified before posting the announcement.” The final season will have “a variety of stories” and will premiere in 2027.
The webnovel was originally written by Kiarne and adapted into a manhwa by Sunset who is in charge of the adaptation and artwork. The manhwa launched on Kakaopage on September 25, 2020 and Tapas on December 19, 2020, with the third season concluding on December 15, 2024 and March 25, 2025, respectively. A Wicked Tale of Cinderella’s Stepmom has been through a few hiatuses due to the artist’s health issues. The manhwa has garnered more than 7.1 million views on the English platform and over 48.2 million views on Kakaopage.

With Tapas’ closure coming in March 2027 and with no new chapters being updated for existing series and the Ink shop closing which prevents readers from purchasing ink to support their favorite creators, there is no word yet on the status of A Wicked Tale of Cinderella’s Stepmom. The manhwa is currently exclusive to Tapas.
