Virtual K-Pop group PLAVE are kicking their comeback into high gear. The five-member group has announced their fifth mini album, HYPERDRIVE, arriving digitally on October 12 at 6 PM KST, with the physical release following on October 13.
HYPERDRIVE marks PLAVE’s first album in approximately six months, following their fourth mini album, Caligo Pt.2. Excitement is already high after the group surprised audiences with an unreleased new song during the encore of their first world tour, KEEP IT MANIC, held at Incheon Munhak Stadium on September 12 and 13.
American fans will get their chance to experience PLAVE live when the 2026 PLAVE World Tour [KEEP IT MANIC] arrives at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium for a one-night-only performance on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The tour brings together high-quality technical production with meticulous artistic direction, creating an immersive experience designed to resonate even with first-time audiences.
The comeback arrives as PLAVE continue expanding their global reach. Following their Billboard 200 debut, their concert film PLAVE Asia Tour [DASH: Quantum Leap] Encore in Cinemas is now streaming globally on Disney+. The group’s cover of “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters also offered another point of connection with international audiences, echoing PLAVE’s own journey from early preconceptions about the “virtual idol” label to widespread recognition.
