Written by Huai Shang, The Sword Named No Way Out is a cultivation novel that follows two enemies who find their way back to each other after sixteen years apart. Feelings of bitterness and anger take a turn when the two discover that the events that transpired more than ten years ago may have hidden truths that have only just come to light.

The synopsis for Vol. 2 is as follows:

After finally slipping free of Xu Shuangce, Gong Wei thought he’d bought himself a moment’s peace—only to find himself in new trouble at the Pacifying Mausoleum. Something even stranger than awakening as the cherished disciple of his enemy awaits him there: his own corpse, risen from the dead. Someone is controlling his body, but what havoc they mean to wreak with it, no one can guess.

As Gong Wei and Xu Shuangce chase the mastermind behind this mystery, the threads lead them to a terrifying vision of the apocalypse. But has this catastrophe already happened, or is it a disaster yet to come? The question throws everything Gong Wei and Xu Shuangce know about the world—and their own shared past—into doubt. For example…Gong Wei has always been certain Xu Shuangce despised him. What if he was wrong from the start?

The second volume comes out on March 9, 2027.
