A new image song for the TV anime The Ghost in the Shell, titled “po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama,” has been released as a digital single, accompanied by a special promotion video directed by series director MOKOCHAN.
Produced by series music director and composer Taisei Iwasaki, with vocals by Kobe-native dancer and actor Mirai Moriyama, “po-ai” is described as a “high-energy track blending pop, rock, and electronic elements.” The song also served as the ending track for the full-length feature footage shown at advance screenings overseas, including the series’ world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France.
The special promotion video was directed by series director MOKOCHAN, offering a visual companion to the track.
The Ghost in the Shell is currently airing nationwide in Japan during the “Ka-Anival!!” programming block on Kansai and Fuji TV networks, with the series in its final stretch.
