We’ve had three covers of the beautiful Maxi, and now Riftan will take center stage.
Inklore unveiled the fourth volume cover of the Under the Oak Tree novel, featuring Riftan riding horseback and looking behind him as rain pelts down. Sprayed on the pages’ edges is the quote “Why are you the only one capable of tormenting me so?” Similar to the other volumes, it will have full-color patterned endpapers, foil stamping on the cover, and a ribbon bookmark. Siana Park designed the beautiful cover.

This volume collects Chapter 1 to 44 of the side stories as well as three bonus chapters of the original webnovel.
Written by Suji Kim, the story follows Maxi, the disgraced stuttering daughter of Duke Croyso, who is forced into a marriage with a lowborn knight named Riftan. Maxi doesn’t think she’ll ever find love and her suspicions seem to be confirmed when Riftan disappears after their wedding night. Three years later, he returns. Despite all of the rewards he could wish for as a war hero, including the hand of the beautiful princess Agnes, he, much to Maxi’s shock and confusion, still wants her. As Maxi navigates her new life as the lady of the Calypse estate, she realizes that she has a voice–one that can be very powerful if she’s brave enough to use it.
The sheer popularity of the webnovel led to a webcomic adaptation with P illustrating. It landed on Manta and quickly shot up to become the platform’s top romantasy title.
Both the novel and manhwa were licensed by Inklore with the former making history as the first novel originally written in Korean to make the New York Times Bestselling Hardcover Fiction List when it debuted at #7.
Inklore describes Volume 4:
A grub should keep to the ground. This is the mantra by which Riftan Calypse lives his miserable life at the very bottom of society in the Duchy of Croyso. He toils at the smithy all day, only to return to a drunk stepfather and an indifferent mother at night. Riftan’s only solace is the duke’s red-haired daughter, whom he occasionally glimpses around the castle grounds. But a mixed-blood peasant like him could never dare to approach a girl of noble descent, so he simply admires her from afar.
When tragedy strikes, Riftan makes a bold decision: He sneaks onto a mercenary wagon and leaves behind everything he’s ever known. With exceptional strength and nothing to lose, Riftan gradually climbs from lowly mercenary to recruit of the unorthodox new order known as the Remdragon Knights. But through countless battles of ever-increasing peril, the red-haired daughter of Croyso never leaves his mind, or his heart . . .
Under the Oak Tree (Novel) Vol. 4 launches on November 17.
