It’ll be a little easier to read Rosmei books now.

Publang, a small independent publisher for Korean BL, announced that they had partnered with Rosmei, a small independent publisher for Chinese novels and manhua, for a digital publishing partnership. This means that Rosmei titles will be available digitally on Publang’s website. It is unclear if all of Rosmei’s titles will be on Publang or a select number. As of this article’s writing, this is the only way to read Rosmei’s works digitally as the publisher has opted to not have ePub files.

Prior to the partnership, readers could only access Rosmei titles through their physical editions. Given the limited distribution services and that Rosmei was based in Singapore, it was difficult for fans to purchase their favorite titles without paying a large price. And with JJWXC authorizing Rosmei’s publishing rights to Singapore only, those in other countries have had to resort to purchasing books through third parties such as Yiggybean or group orders.

The first Rosmei title on Publang is The Killer of Killers, written by T. X. Brooks, and currently has the first volume with 9 chapters out. The danmei was originally serialized on JJWXC in 2018 and has 87 chapters and six extras.

According to Rosmei’s replies, the next danmei on Publang will be Art Thou Ailing? Plans for a digital release of Rosmei’s manhua titles will be limited as the rights for titles licensed from Tengxun Dongman are held by other platforms. In response to fans asking for more options for eBook services such as Kindle, NOOK, and Kobo, the publisher teased that they had plans for “future expansion to other platforms” and will announce them in 2027.

Fans can read The Killer of Killers on Publang. Fans can still purchase the danmei in print as a two-volume hardcover bundled set.
