Monster Hunter Now is expanding its gear system in a big way. A brand-new equipment category is arriving on Thursday, November 12th, and it’s set to change how hunters approach their builds.
For the first time, hunters will have access to Accessories—a new type of equipment that sits alongside weapons and armor. This fresh category opens up new possibilities for fine-tuning your loadout and pushing your stats even further.
Accessories provide stat boosts through two distinct layers:
- Main Effects – The core bonuses you get from equipping the accessory.
- Sub-Effects – Additional bonuses that can be refined and customized.
The key to unlocking an accessory’s full potential lies in Proofs of Conviction, a new material obtained by slaying 10★ monsters. These proofs allow you to refine sub-effects, giving you control over how your accessory evolves.
The introduction of Accessories adds a new dimension to build crafting in Monster Hunter Now. With the ability to refine sub-effects, players can tailor their gear to suit their playstyle—whether that means stacking offensive stats, shoring up defenses, or pursuing a hybrid approach.
Only one type of accessory will be available at launch, but the door is open for more to come in future updates. For now, hunters should start preparing for 10★ hunts—those Proofs of Conviction won’t earn themselves.
Key Details:
- Launch Date: Thursday, November 12th
- New Equipment Type: Accessories
- Refinement Material: Proofs of Conviction (from 10★ monsters)
- Customization: Main effects + refinable sub-effects
