LE SSERAFIM is bringing their signature energy to the basketball court—literally.
Amazon Music announced that the global girl group will headline the first-ever WNBA edition of its acclaimed performance series “Amazon Music presents: In the Paint.” The performance airs Thursday, July 9, following Prime Video’s exclusive coverage of the Indiana Fever vs. Phoenix Mercury game.
During the broadcast, LE SSERAFIM will perform their latest single, “BOOMPALA.” Immediately following the performance, fans can head to the Amazon Music app to watch an exclusive performance of “SPAGHETTI,” available only on Amazon Music.
“Launching the WNBA edition of ‘In the Paint’ is a natural next step for the series,” said Kirdis Postelle, Global Head of Content Development and Distribution at Amazon Music. “We’re always looking for new ways to connect music and sports, and with the WNBA’s popularity continuing to surge and LE SSERAFIM cementing its place as a global phenomenon, bringing the two together for this performance was a natural fit.”
The performance arrives at the beginning of a new chapter for LE SSERAFIM, who released their 2nd studio album PUREFLOW pt. 1 last month. The project earned the group their fifth top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 and marks an evolution in their narrative around fear and growth.
The group is also set to embark on their “2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR PUREFLOW,”spanning 23 cities across Asia, North America, and Europe.
“In the Paint” brings basketball and music together by reimagining artists’ most essential songs in a cinematic setting. LE SSERAFIM’s appearance follows standout performances from Weezer, Kehlani, TAEMIN, Clipse, Nas, YG, Charlie Puth, and BigXthaPlug.
