The Rockie Awards recognizes talent from around the world, making it a prestigious ceremony with winners selected by an international industry jury comprised of more than 150 senior entertainment and media professionals.
Based on Rachel Reid’s book, Heated Rivalry follows the secret romance between rival hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Initially starting as a casual relationship where the two would occasionally meet up to have sex whenever they play each other, their relationship gradually develops into something more–a change neither of them anticipated.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty follows a French cuisine chef named Yeon Jiyeong who time travels back to the Joseon dynasty shortly after winning the grand prize for Michelin chefs in Paris. Jiyeong finds herself in the royal court where she meets the King of Joseon, Lee Heon, who is both a foodie and a tyrant. Combining her modern cooking techniques with traditional ingredients, she becomes the Chief Royal Cook after impressing the king with her meals.
Love Scout follows Kang Ji-yoon, the CEO of the headhunting company Peoplez who has a hard time balancing her professional life with her personal. On the other hand, her secretary, Yoo Eunho, does not have such a problem and Ji-yoon is impressed by his ability to balance both parts of his life. As the two work together, the line between their work and personal lives start to blur.
Study Group follows Yoon Gamin who wants nothing more than to go to university but seems to only have talent for fighting. Determined to do well in school and enter post-secondary, he forms a study group and enlists the temp teacher Lee Hankyung to help with his endeavor.
Winners will be revealed on June 16.
