Hai Tang Books has revealed its English license acquisition of Blue Dust Trilogy.
The indie publisher revealed that it would compile all three of Chu Tu’s books in the Blue Dust Trilogy into one. They also revealed they would be releasing an “author-revised” version of the three books “with the original flavor preserved and further refined exclusively for the English version.” When asked what revisions the trilogy would have, Hai Tang responded: “The revision mainly focuses on Weightless and only makes the work more beautiful.”
The progress report from July states that the translation for Blue Dust Trilogy is completed with the cover design in progress.
Cerulean Planet was completed in 2017 and contains 21 chapters. Weightless is the second installment and contains 50 chapters. The Observer completes the trilogy at 34 chapters. Hai Tang Books has not provided a preview or a synopsis yet but the sci-fi danmei appears to feature an alien and human relationship, a space mission, and the question of finding your place in the universe.
Hai Tang Books has also revealed Blue Dust Trilogy will release sometime this year.
