Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES is celebrating their 10th anniversary in a big way.
BURNOUT SYNDROMES’s debut single “FLY HIGH!” became the second season opening theme song of volleyball anime Haikyuu!! which landed on the Japan Hot 100 billboard at #12 and Oricon chart at #20. The rock band’s ties to Haikyuu!! continued after the second season when they sang for the opening of the third season, “Hikariare” and the opening for the fourth season “Phoenix.” To celebrate their debut, BURNOUT SYNDROMES is paying homage to their Haikyuu!! roots by releasing an album with their covers of the anime’s theme songs.
A music video for “Phoenix” with all of the iconic panels from Haikyuu!! was also released and will surely make you have goosebumps.
The cover artwork of Haikyu!! BOS – Syudaikatachinoutage (“Banquet of Theme Songs”) features Hinata at school, his head on the desk as he listens to the songs.

BURNOUT SYNDROMES has provided their vocals for numerous other anime including Gintama and Dr. Stone. Their most recent album was back in June 2021 when they released Tokyo which peaked at #42 on the Japan Billboard charts.
Haikyu!! BOS – Syudaikatachinoutage was released on August 19.
