AX 2026: BLEACH Mirrors High Opens CBT Applications, Reveals Tite Kubo-Designed Characters at Anime Expo

Bleach Mirrors High

Bandai Namco Entertainment made a splash at Anime Expo 2026 with major updates for BLEACH Mirrors High, the new mobile action game set after the events of the “Thousand-Year Blood War” arc. Closed Beta Test applications are now open, and two new Soul Reapers designed by series creator Tite Kubo have been unveiled.

At the heart of the game’s original story are Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari, two new Soul Reapers designed by Tite Kubo himself. They stand as the game’s dual protagonists, ushering in a new chapter of the Soul Reaper saga.

Kubo explained his deep involvement in the project: “For this project, I have been involved from the kickoff meeting and worked on the title, scenario, and character designs. As for character designs, I got so excited working on them and ended up doing more than what was requested.”

He also contributed to the logo design and participated in auditions and recording sessions, ensuring the characters turned out exactly as he imagined. “The story is partly related to the main scenario of the comics, so I hope you look forward to that too,” he added.

A new trailer premiered at Anime Expo, showcasing the immersive 13 Court Guard Squads action that players can expect.
