GOALLLL! AOASHI has dropped its PV for the upcoming second season.
The promotional video for the second season of the soccer anime series AOASHI has revealed the opening and ending theme songs. Season 2 will have more games, new strategies, new foes, and matches to be won and lost as it follows Ashito Aoi’s quest to get into the Tokyo City Esperion A Team. 10-FEET performed the opening theme song “Fortress Defense” while Ai Higuchi performed the ending theme song “Triangle.”
Fans may already know 10-FEET for the voices behind the ending theme song for THE FIRST SLAM DUNK, and the rock band had high praise for AOASHI. “Its take on soccer is fascinating, but what draws me in just as much is how the main character relates to his family, his friends, and the people around him,” Takuma said.
Higuchi, who performed the ending and opening theme songs for Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 and Bocchi the Rock!, respectively, promised that her song is “for the dreamers who cannot let it end yet, who cannot allow it to end, who cannot give up.”
Kazuki Yokoyama takes the helm as the director with Masahiro Yokotani overseeing the series composition. Manabu Nakatake, Asami Taguchi, and Junko Yamanaka worked on the character design. Masaru Yokoyama composed the music.
Written and illustrated by Yugo Kobayashi, AOASHI ran from January 2015 to June 2025. The manga scored a win in 2020 when they won in the general category at the Shogakukan Manga Awards. As of March 2026, the manga has over 25 million copies in circulation.

The second season will hit the field running on Crunchyroll in October. The first season is already streaming on the platform.
