Anime NYC: Kodansha Licenses Hajime no Ippo, Trapped on Tape!, and Print Club Line-up

Kodansha saved the best for last during their industry panel at Anime NYC.

The publisher started off with their titles for their Kodansha Print Club which is a publishing program that brings Kodansha’s digital titles to physical prints. The five titles have a mix of romance, horror, and comedy. Kodansha then revealed that they had licensed the horror manga Trapped on Tape! before revealing Hajime no Ippo: Fighting Spirit!, the best-selling boxing manga that has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
