Ize Press has announced the licensing of an acclaimed webcomic.
At Anime NYC, during Yen Press’s industry panel, Ize Press, the imprint for manhwa and Korean novels, revealed they had licensed the historical romance and award-winning manhwa Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid, much to everyone’s excitement. Ize Press is also expanding into the Spanish market with Spanish translations of the best-selling novel and manhwa Solo Leveling. The imprint is also adding to its Solo Leveling library with a sequel and a board game.

The Solo Leveling: Board Game can be played by one person or up to four players where players must fight bosses to clear dungeons. Each dungeon will challenge players to be adaptable which will allow for a fresh experience every time. The board game will include 3D miniature figures for both hungers and monsters, dungeon boards and boss screens, die, health and mana dials, item cards, and token. There will be a standard and ultimate edition with the latter including a Beru plushie, a Colossus figure, placemats, acrylic standees of the bosses, and more.
