HIDIVE has announced the largest content programming deal in its history, expanding its partnership with Japan’s Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) through a new multi-year output agreement. The deal grants HIDIVE exclusive worldwide rights to distribute MBS’ upcoming anime programming in all territories outside of Asia.

The collaboration builds on an ongoing alliance originally launched in March 2023, which has already delivered fan-favorite hits including My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha, I Parry Everything, The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: from Villainess to Savior, and HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing . Under the new expanded pact, HIDIVE will simulcast MBS’ multi-year series lineup exclusively in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand as they release over upcoming seasons.
Inaugural Title: Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden
To celebrate the partnership, HIDIVE unveiled Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden as the inaugural MBS title. The fantasy action series is adapted from the long-running light novel series written by Umikaze Minamino and illustrated by Katana Canata and JISHAKU. It is directed by Motoki Nakanishi with assistant director Haruta Segi, series composition by Gigaemon Ichikawa, and production by Konami Animation. Honoka Inoue stars as the protagonist Nia Liston.
The series debuts this October as part of HIDIVE’s Fall 2026 Simulcast Season. HIDIVE will present the series’ North American premiere on August 21 at Anime NYC 2026.

Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden premieres at Anime NYC on August 21, followed by its October debut on HIDIVE . Additional MBS titles under the agreement will be announced in the future.
