A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation will be coming back in a few short weeks.
NAVER WEBTOON posted a return date on the manhwa’s page, revealing that the second season would come back on September 25. It is unclear if the manhwa will drop multiple episodes on this day. The series has accumulated more than 1.4 million views on the WEBTOON English platform since its debut in February this year.
WEBTOON describes the synopsis:
Is infinite regression a blessing– or a curse? For Eunhyeon, it is a fate that he desperately wishes to escape. Seven beings fall into the world of cultivators. Each has rare talents, but Eunhyeon appears to have none and struggles to survive in this strange world. Yet after his death, he finds himself back at the start of it all, realizing that his talent is the ability of infinite regression. Here begins Eunhyeon’s relentless struggle to break free.
Amazing originally wrote the novel in 2023 and has 862 chapters completed which includes a prologue, a main story that spans 812 chapters, and 49 side story chapters. The novel was adapted into a webcomic by KIM MuHyeon in June 2025 on NAVER WEBTOON. The English translation launched not long after in October 2025. The first season concluded on December 4, 2025 on NAVER and February 16, 2026 on the English platform.
A return date for the English translation was not announced on WEBTOON as of this article’s writing.
